I've always made it a practice to never purchase an extended warranty. Especially with something like an electronic item. Chances are, even if you're in a situation where the extended warranty would kick in, you might be far enough down the road that you'd rather replace it anyhow. I've seen a lot of hardware over the years. And it's been my experience that if a piece of hardware is gonna fail, it usually happen within a year anyhow. SS Good advice.
